*We have shared the joy of teaching for many years.  We look forward to working with you and your children throughout the year.  Some things to look forward to include: multiplication & division, learning the 50 states and their capitals, and many exciting science experiments.

 

*We thank you for your continuous support at home.  Please reinforce multiplication and division facts with your children.  Encourage your children to read each and every night for pleasure.

*Fourth Grade Happenings:

November

Monday, November 9th - Mr. Smith, the Education Curator from the Museum of CT History, will conduct an interactive learning program on the History of Connecticut for each of the fourth grade classrooms.

Wednesday, November 11th- No School- Veteran’s Day

Tuesday and Wednesday, November 17th and 18th – Elementary Evening Conferences

Thursday and Friday, November 19th and 20stEarly Release Elementary Afternoon Conferences

Friday, December 4th- No School- Teacher In-Service & Polar Express Night- Come experience the Polar Express with your friends from Eli Whitney at Barnes & Noble in Enfield.

Thursday, December 17th- Grade Four field trip to the Connecticut Historical Society (The Old State House). Students will be attending two programs:     “The Three Branches of Government” and “The Legend of the Charter Oak”.
